Hi, I'm Rachel Randolph

At 26, I was diagnosed with chronic anxiety and depression, and prescribed Zoloft. I remember standing in my therapist’s office, being told I had a chemical imbalance and that I’d probably be on medication for the rest of my life. I left feeling hopeless. The medication made everything worse. The suicidal ideation deepened. And then my therapist ghosted me.

I didn't start doing this work because I had a natural calling. Quite the opposite actually. I started a free Meetup group. No courses. No coaches. Just real humans talking about anxiety, connection, and what it’s like to feel trapped in your own mind.
That group changed my life and set the stage for the last 7 years. â€‹

From there, I started helping people one-on-one. Not because I had the answers but because I was still asking the deep questions, but I had more experience now. I studied NLP to understand how the mind actually works. I built on my years of mindfulness, meditation, and journaling. And slowly, I started putting the pieces together. Communication wasn’t just about what we say. It was about the inner world we never say out loud. The nervous system patterns, the beliefs, and the emotional noise. And most of all: how we talk to ourselves.

So I began combining what actually worked:
1. Introspection (self-inquiry)
2. Emotional regulation (staying calm and clear)
3. Practical communication skills (applying 1 & 2 to my listening, speaking, and mindfulness skills)

I created The Spec Method because I believe communication is more than just words and fancy skills. It changed my life to pay attention to my mind, emotions, and the potential of communication. That's why I teach it. â€‹
