Develop Grounded Power Through
Unscripted Communication

an embodied communication methodology

Before you speak with authority and confidence, you have to see yourself clearly.

Communication is at the core of everything—relationships, leadership, and self-expression.  But maybe you've found yourself at a frustrating crossroads between who you are on the inside, and how you communicate.

You’ve done the self-development. You've made it far in your career.

You’re self-aware. But when it comes time to speak...

You know what you want to say but the words freeze or come out wrong.

You want strong boundaries but fold under pressure or fear of conflict.

You want to stay composed but get flustered or emotionally overwhelmed.

That’s not because you’re broken. It’s because most communication advice skips the one thing that actually matters: the inner work.

The Spec Method is introspective communication coaching. It bridges the gap between your inner clarity and your outward expression - so you can communicate with confidence, presence, and integrity in your relationships, career, and leadership.

This work is about learning how to use your inner voice as a guiding force for clear, calm, powerful communication.

Spec is a root word, meaning "to look, see"

What is The Spec Method?

Meet Amelia

The Spec Method is a holistic, introspective approach to communication coaching. It’s designed for mindful leaders who want to express themselves with clarity, confidence, and impact—without abandoning who they are in the process. This method blends self-awareness, emotional regulation, and grounded presence to help you shift unhelpful communication patterns, develop a stronger inner voice and speak with clarity, authenticity, and purpose. It’s not about “fixing” your personality. It’s about accessing the self-awareness you already have—and learning how to communicate from that place of calm power. Spec is rooted in the Latin specere, “to look, to see.” Because powerful communication starts with knowing how to see yourself—clearly, compassionately, and without apology.

Who is this method for?

So....

You’re a high-achieving, thoughtful leader in your career - but when it comes to expressing yourself both personally and professionally, something still feels... stuck.

You’ve probably tried the usual fixes: self-help books, journaling, maybe even taken a speaking courses. But nothing seems to fully translate the clarity you feel inside, into the words you say out loud.

Do any of these hit home?

  • You know what you mean but fumble to say it clearly, especially under pressure

  • You overthink texts, emails, conversations, including after they’ve already happened.

  • You want to set boundaries but end up backpedaling, people-pleasing, or avoiding confrontation entirely

  • You speak well on paper, but freeze or ramble in real time conversations.

  • You’ve done the self-work, but your voice still doesn’t feel fully yours. You still filter, edit, and mask what you want to express.

This is coaching for leaders who are done shrinking, silencing, or spiraling in conversation.

This isn’t passive self-help. This is active, introspective skill-building designed to transform the way you show up in your conversations—and in your life.

What others are saying

I came to Rachel looking to become a better communicator but what I got was far more impactful. She helped me understand the deeper patterns behind how I speak, react, and perceive myself. Through our work, I built emotional tools that actually work when pressure hits, and I’ve become more grounded, clear, and consistent in how I show up professionally and personally. Every part of our work was personalized, thoughtful, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
